Kentucky Recent Arrests is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, provide or remove booking photos, post bond, or retrieve an official record. Contact the agency, jail, court, or corrections office that created the record for a current answer. The list below distinguishes those records so a booking question, later court result, or custody notice reaches the office that holds it. Verify current submission steps and contact details on the official source.
Where Kentucky Records Are Held
Kentucky arrests are handled by local, state, and federal agencies. The arresting agency may not be the jail that holds the booking record, and the court keeps a separate case file. Use the route that matches the record or custody question.
- County arrest or jail custody: choose the county in the County Directory, then use that county’s roster or records contact.
- Kentucky State Police report: use the KSP Open Records page or its linked NextRequest portal for an existing agency record.
- Release or transfer notices: check VINELink or call Kentucky VINE at 1-800-511-1670. For a fresh booking, verify with the receiving jail.
- Court case or disposition: search CourtNet; the county Circuit Court Clerk is the custodian for an official court record.
- State corrections custody: use Kentucky Offender Online Lookup for a state custody or supervision record.
- Federal custody: use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator or ICE detainee locator. BOP does not publish booking photos through its locator.
